Michael Malarkey

Mike Malarkey studied improv and writing at Chicago's iO Theater (formerly Improv Olympic) and in the Second City Conservatory program. He too is on an iO house team. Aside from performing improv throughout Chicago he's a freelance music producer, session musician, and has studied musical directing at Second City and with iO's musical director Dave Asher. Mike is has performed as a musical director for iO's house teams, the show "Les Musical", and as an understudy for iO's "The Deltones". He was recently featured as a writer and musician on "Lay You Down (feat. Lil Wayne)" and "This Is Like (feat. Robin Thicke)" on Tyga's Careless World album.
